We are one of Europe’s leading energy services companies, with customers at over 70,000 industrial facilities. After going through significant restructuring, we wanted to maintain our high operational standards by optimising our messaging service – whilst we migrated systems onto a new IT infrastructure. We also needed to incorporate one of our subsidiary companies, Cogenco, which involved the migration of 170 users, into our existing Active Directory, Exchange and Enterprise Vault systems.

To achieve our business transformation goals, we have always chosen an intelligent-outsourcing route. the solution

To meet the challenge Dalkia chose bluesource to carry out the migration of the Cogenco users, optimise its mail environment and remotely manage its UK-based email archiving Solution.

The managed archive is maintained securely from the bluesource Service Management Centre in London and provides 24×7 monitoring and analysis of the health of Dalkia’s Enterprise Vault archive and storage infrastructure.

bluesource delivers proactive resolution of incidents, to reduce systems’ risks and keep an ongoing watch over Dalkia’s information infrastructure, preempting problems, and guaranteeing absolute minimum downtime. bluesource also provides insight into the overall status of these critical technologies, with reporting that highlights performance, data growth and forecast usage. This insight enables Dalkia’s in-house IT team to respond and plan accordingly.
