the challenge

Bravissimo wanted to upgrade its messaging solution that consisted of a single Exchange 2003 server, supporting over 180 staff mailboxes and also required a move from a capex to an opex purchasing model – whilst benefiting from the robust security and enterprise class SLAs offered by Office 365.

Bravissimo were also highly aware of the competition they face in the retail industry for good staff – an industry where staff attrition is notably high – finding a tool to engage their employees – particularly those on the front line serving customers – would prove to be paramount.

the solution

bluesource presented a solution that incorporated a best practice design to allow the company themselves to carry-out the transition of the current messaging solution on premises, to Exchange Online. We recommended a “cut-over” migration to Office 365, which ensured a simple migration – minimising any requirement for system co-existence and user disruption.

We facilitated a strategy and discovery workshop for the company  which fed into the deployment process to ensure that the solution was optimised for smooth delivery of the service – we also worked with the team on their compliance and device strategy, which would prove to be a key pillar in their digital transformation journey – by the end of the transition the Bravissimo team are a try secure, mobile workforce.
